At The Forest Next, we have published two articles and a patent about a technology that improves the properties of epoxy resin compounds with carbon fiber or aramid. This is due to the improvement of the interactions between the different components thanks to the use of GO / rGO.

Identification of necessities
The epoxy resin composites with carbon fiber or aramid fiber have a wide variety of applications in the industry such as constructions, aeronautic and aerospace thanks to its weight, its high thermic stability, its excellent corrosive resistance, its high strength and rigidity. The performance of this type of material is being affected by the material properties and its load transfer capacity which is determined by the interfacial interactions between de fiber and the matrix. Due to the fact that the current interactions are weak, the efficiency of the compounds is limited.
Development of the technology
between the different components thanks to the use of GO / rGO nanoparticles that act as a reinforcing agent. Improving the properties of the compound, we achieve higher efficiency and we open new methods of application.
