Analysis
At The Forest Next, it is essential to propose an added value to the client’s requirements to achieve the greatest satisfaction for our customers. The first step was to get all the information in the industry to achieve the best functional and aesthetic result. The challenge was demanding and the road was long to go due to the different products that had to be developed, from drive mechanisms and plugs to HDMI and USB and TV.
Strategy Development
Once the different regulations were studied, the client’s specifications and a study of the competition began to develop the first Autocad and Solidwords designs of the different mechanisms. Once the initial designs were made, the first prototypes were made with 3D prints, laser utilization and training with steel massifs to study the viability of the designs created. Once the prototypes were made, the deficiencies were studied and the appropriate corrections applied. After approving the different prototypes we go on to the creation of an efficient manufacturing process looking for competitive cost and timings. A framework of suppliers capable of supplying the production chain with different elements to create all electrical mechanisms was established.
Result
Today the company is marketing different lines of luxury electric mechanisms and have a product that has an added value from materials used to manufacturing techniques and aesthetic finishes. We have provided different quality certificates that allow their commercialization in the national and European market. We have facilitated the creation of different patents. The distribution company has managed to have its own line of products, achieving self-supply, a competitive cost price, greater profit margin and greater flexibility with its customers, improving their business capacity and supply of their products.
The case shown is an example of a complete product engineering project that has lasted 4 months and has had a multidisciplinary team of designers, electronic and mechanical engineers who have been making periodic deliveries throughout the project ensuring success. We offer integral or partial support for any of the mentioned lines, from taking of requirements, designs, prototypes, corrections, evaluation of improvements and innovation by putting at your disposal a team capable of assuming a multitude of challenges.
